Robotic Process Automation
The process of automating business operations with the help of robots to reduce human intervention is said to be Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
- Robotic are entities that mimic human actions are called Robots.
- A process is a sequence of steps that lead to meaningful activity. For example, the process of making tea or your favorite dish, etc.
- Automation is any process that is done by a robot without human intervention.
There are several players among the RPA technologies, however not all are suitable for all kind of companies. We have reviewed and evaluated most of them.
Among the huge variety of players, we have allied with a key company which comprises the value of practical, adaptive, reusable for delivering a versatile platform for any IT RPA developer.
Customer Feedback from Early Adopters of RPA
The efficiency of processes improved due to RPA implementation, leading to improved quality while also enabling staff to focus more resources on work with greater added value such as improving the process itself or generating innovation.

RPA Classes
Maturity of processes and capabilities of AI within the RPA platforms can lead us to 3 main classes of RPA to consider.

WHY SAFETY IS IMPORTANT IN RPA?
A BOT works by emulating what an employee does, this means that it has the potential to access all the Company’s applications such as CRM, ERP, etc. and view confidential information of both the company and its customers.
As with a human employee, to avoid the cost of a security incident, it is critical that the equipment on which the BOT operates complies with the Cybersecurity Stack of the Enterprise, such as authentication and access solutions, antivirus, anti malware, protection from zero day attacks, D.O.S., Next Generation Firewall, etc. used in the company to protect itself from both internal and external attacks.
Role Based Access Control
Using role creation, administrators can easily define privileges and / or permissions according to the type of user.
ROCKETBOT ARCHITECTURE AND OPERATION
Rocketbot Suite is made up of 3 essential components:
Rocketbot Studio
WEB platform for the creation of BOT which is connected through a specific high port with Rocketbot Play to progressively debug the robot.
Rocketbot Play
Run the robots created in Rocketbot Studio both command by command and robot full.
Rocketbot Dashboard
Web platform that takes care of the business, contains keys and the robot’s work queue.

Rocketbot Studio
Up to version 0.4.9 is configured in such a way that it can be programmed without Login or Registration “Arrive and program”.
The protection of this component is given by the user session limitations and the operating system that hosts it. Prepared to work totally isolated from connections Web.
Rocketbot Play
Allows execution from a database with encrypted robot or robot exported to JSON.
AES encryption in CBC mode with a 128-bit key for encryption; using PKCS7 padding. HMAC using SHA256 for authentication. or robot exported to JSON in plane text.
Passwords can be stored on the dashboard. The robot connects to the dashboard with username and password and obtain information by POST with TLS1.2 and JSON Web Token.
Rocketbot Dashboard
It is behind the https TLS 1.2 protocol and sends protected information with JWT.
Passwords are saved encrypted in the database (Mysql / SqlServer / Postgres). He method used is to pass the passwords through Hash Argon2 and bcrypt.
Access to dashboard parts and components are controlled by RBAC (Role Based Access Control) which allows depending on the user’s ROL to perform an action like running a robot or viewing the log.
Audit Logs
Rocketbot stores all the events that it executes in order to be audited. One of the most important points is that Rocketbot does not execute events without logging the input data and stores all errors determining in which component it failed. He limit of data saved in the log is determined by the operating system and can store all information in plain text or in a database. Saved data they are: Date, Time, event, commands and errors.

Passwords are saved encrypted in the database (Mysql / SqlServer / Postgres). The method used is to pass the passwords through Hash Argon2 and bcrypt.
Access to dashboard parts and components are controlled by RBAC (Role Based Access Control) which allows depending on the user’s ROL to perform an action like running a robot or viewing the log.
